LAMDA are a world-leading higher education provider and the oldest drama school in the UK, having delivered graded qualifications for 130 years. Their accredited exams at Level 3 or above are recognised by Ofqual and sit within the UCAS Tariff system. Every year they deliver over 100,000 assessments to their student actors, stage managers, technicians, directors, and designers.
LAMDA’s stakeholders place a lot of value on their unique qualifications and processes but their previous system was built on a legacy database which no longer met their needs. Our task was to build an improved award life cycle management system that delivered an intuitive and seamless experience. Going paperless was an important objective; helping to support the business’ environmental commitments. While reducing pressures on administrative staff and helping the company achieve its growth objectives were also primary goals.
Following a detailed scoping phase, we mapped out LAMDA’s processes and built custom workflows to be integrated into the ExamTrack platform. This resulted in:
